「旅する蝶」であるアサギマダラをベースにデザインされたピアス
蝶は、蛹から蝶へと姿を大きく変化させるため、新しいことの始まりや成長を表す象徴とも考えられてきました
またひらひらと軽やかに舞う様子は自由を表しているとも言えます
アサギマダラは1500キロも旅するとも言われていて、遠くへ行くことができたり、何かをやり遂げるということも連想させてくれます。
メゾンドラベイユさんの細やかな技術により彫り出された繊細な羽に、最も硬いとされるダイヤが配され儚さと強さを共存させているデザインです。
These earrings are inspired by the *Asagi-madara* (Chestnut Tiger butterfly), known as a “traveling butterfly.”
Because butterflies undergo a dramatic transformation from chrysalis to adult, they are regarded as symbols of new beginnings and personal growth.
Their light, fluttering flight also embodies a sense of freedom.
The *Asagi-madara* is said to travel distances of up to 1,500 kilometers, evoking images of journeying to far-off places and the successful accomplishment of goals.
Crafted with Maison de l’Abeille’s meticulous artistry, the delicate wings are set with diamonds—the hardest of gemstones—creating a design that harmoniously blends fragility with strength.
