Thirdeye（サードアイ）とは「第三の眼」を意味し、両目以外に持つとされる特別な感覚器で「内なる目」を意味します。サードアイが開くと、感情が安定し、相手の気持ちに寄り添うことができるようになり、怒りなどの感情が湧かなくなると言われています。
瞳には密かにハートを彫り、愛情深い眼をモチーフにしています。
＊インタリオとは、沈み彫りの技術を用い彫刻を施した美術・工芸品です。優れた彫刻技術はもちろんのこと、特殊な道具も用いられる為、国内で加工できる職人が限られております。宝石研磨の技術を継承し、独自の研究を重ねて完成されたこちらのリングは、Maison de l’abeilleの保田萌氏が仕立てまでを一貫して手掛けています。
Thirdeye refers to the “third eye,” a special sense beyond the two physical eyes, representing the “inner eye.” When the third eye is awakened, it is said to stabilize emotions, enhance empathy toward others, and prevent feelings such as anger from arising. The pupils of this piece are subtly engraved with hearts, symbolizing eyes full of love and compassion.
※Intaglio is an artistic technique in which designs are carved into the surface of a material. It requires not only exceptional carving skill but also specialized tools, making skilled domestic artisans rare. This ring is the result of Maison de l’abeille’s Moe Yasuda’s meticulous craftsmanship, from research and design to the final hand-finishing.
